What?

Meditation improves overall health, relaxation, stress prevention or reduction. It is estimated we have at least 60,000 thought each day, and our minds are busy even when we are asleep so a more peaceful state is the aim. Focusing and creating awareness of being in the moment, changes the brain activity which leads to a psychological opening up to calmness and clarity.

Why?

  • Alterations in the brain activity has profound effects on the autonomic nervous system which enables the body to respond effectively to everyday stresses resulting in peace of mind
